The Israelites traveled in the wilderness for two months.
イスラエルの民は荒野の中を二ヶ月間旅して、
They came to Mount Sinai.
シナイ山のふもとに着いた。
Moses went up the mountain.
モーゼス(聖書ではモーセ)が山の上に上ると、
Jesus Christ spoke to him.
イエス・キリストは彼に語りかけられた。
Jesus told Moses to tell the Israelites how they had been blessed.
イエスはモーゼスに、イスラエル人達にどのように彼らが祝福されてきたか、
Jesus had led them out of Egypt.
イエスがエジプトから彼らを導き出されたということを告げるように言われた。
He said the people should obey His commandments.
民はイエスの戒めを守るべきであり、
He would bless them.
そうすれば彼らは祝福されるであろうと言われた。
Moses went down the mountain.
モーゼスは山を下りて、
He told the people what Jesus said.
イエスが言われた事を人々に伝えた。
The people promised to obey.
民は従うと約束した。
They would do what Jesus said.
イエスの言われた事を行うと。
And Jesus would bless them.
そうすればイエスは彼らを祝福されるであろう。
Jesus wanted the Israelites to hear His voice.

Moses told them to stand at the bottom of a mountain.
モーゼスは彼らに山のふもとに立つように言った。
The mountain was called Mount Sinai.
その山はシナイ山と呼ばれた。
A cloud of smoke came on the mountain.
一筋の雲が山に起こり、
Jesus was in the cloud.
イエスはその雲の中にいらっしゃった。
The mountain shook.
山が揺れ動き、
Jesus spoke to the people.
イエスは人々に語りかけられた。
Jesus Christ told the people the Ten Commandments.
イエス・キリストは彼らに十戒を教えられた。
Jesus said:
イエスは言われた、
1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
1.あなたは私のほかになにものをも神としてはならない。
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image
2.あなたは自分のために刻んだ偶像を造ってはならない。
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
3.あなたはあなたの神、主の名をみだりに唱えてはならない。
4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
4.安息日を覚えそれを聖としなさい。
5. Honor thy father and thy mother.
5.あなたの父と母を敬いなさい。
6. Thou shalt not kill.
6.あなたは殺してはならない。
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
7.あなたは姦淫してならない。
8. Thou shalt not steal.
8.あなたは盗んではならない。
9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
9.あなたは隣人について偽証してはならない。
10. Thou shalt not covet.

The people heard Jesus Christ.
人々はイエスの言葉を聞き、
They were afraid.
恐れた。
They did not want Jesus to talk to them.
彼らはイエスに自分達ではなく、
They wanted Him to talk to Moses.
モーゼスに語られることを望んだ。
Then Moses went back up Mount Sinai.
そこでモーゼスはシナイ山に戻って上り、
Jesus gave other commandments for the people.
イエスは民に対する他の戒めを与えられた。
Moses told Aaron and Aaron's two sons to come up the mountain.
モーゼスはアロンとアロンの二人の息子に山に登って来るように言った。
He also told 70 elders to come up.
彼はまた70人の長老達にも登って来るように言った。
The men went up the mountain.
その男達は山に登っていった。
They saw Jesus.
彼らはイエスを見た。
Jesus told Moses to come higher on the mountain.

Jesus wrote the commandments on stone with His finger.
