It was time to make the earth.

Heavenly Father chose Jesus Christ to make it.

It took Jesus six days to make the earth.
イエスは地球を六日のうちに創った。
The days were much longer than our days.
その時間は私たちの時間よりずっと長いものだった。
On the first day, Jesus made the light.
第一日目にイエスは光を創り、
He called it day.
それを昼と呼び、
Then he made the dark.
それから闇を創って、
He called it night.
それを夜と呼んだ。
On the second day, Jesus divided the water.
二日目、イエスは水のある所を分けた。
Some water was on the earth, and some water was in the clouds in the sky.
ある水は地の上にあり、またある水は空の雲にあった。
On the third day, Jesus made dry land.
第三日にイエスは乾いた地を創り、
He made the grass, the trees, and all the plants grow.
草と木と、全ての植物を生やした。
On the fourth day, Jesus made the sun.
四日目、イエスは日を創り、
He made the moon and the stars.
月と星とを創った。
On the fifth day, Jesus put fish in the water.
五日目にイエスは海に魚を入れ、
He also made the birds.

Adam looked like God and Jesus.
彼は神とイエスによく似ていた。
Adam lived in a beautiful garden.
アダムは美しい園に住んだ。
It was called the Garden of Eden.
その園はエデンの園と呼ばれた。
Adam was alone in the garden, so God and Jesus made a woman.
アダムはその園で一人きりだったので、神とイエスは女を創った。
The woman's name was Eve.
その女の名はイヴ（聖典ではエバ）と言い、
She was Adam's wife.
アダムの妻になった。
God and Jesus told Adam and Eve to take care of the garden.
神とイエスは、アダムとイヴにその園の世話をするように言われ
They told them to have children.
子供を儲けるように言われた。
God and Jesus looked at all they had made.
