Games:

Wall Touch –

Give each student some Blue-Tak or something to stick the cards on the wall with. Ask

everyone to randomly stick the cards all over the walls around the room. Then bring

everyone into the middle of the room. Shout out “Monday” and everyone has to race over

to a Monday card and touch it. Then “Tuesday” and so on (in the correct order) until you make it through all the weekdays. Play another round, this time faster! This could be done with numbers too!

Line Up –

Have each student wear a sign that has a day of the week on it. One student would be Monday, another Tuesday, etc. Have the students stand in a line facing you. Yell ‘Go!’ The students must then rearrange themselves in the correct sequence within a predetermined time limit.

Feed the Caterpillar-

Write the days of the week on the board. Tell the students that they are going to help the caterpillar eat. Hide pictures of the correct number of fruit that the caterpillar ate each day (such as one apple, four strawberries, etc). After finding all of the food, have the students place them on the board under the correct day of the week.
