Teach English to K-9 students at Yuzawa Gakuen.

Internship Opportunity: ALT & Study Abroad Facilitator

Mikuni International College is seeking two interns for a unique ALT position at Yuzawa Gakuen.

Responsibilities:

• Teach EFL classes at Yuzawa Gakuen.
• Accompany and support a group of students on a study trip to Magna, Utah (July 25 – August 3).
• Serve as an interpreter and facilitator for the group throughout the trip.

Requirements:

• Native English speaker.
• At least one intern in the pair needs to be fluent in Japanese or enrolled in Japanese coursework.
• Preferred: ESL coursework

Benefits:

• Travel and accommodation expenses fully covered.
• Academic scholarship provided by our nonprofit organization (in lieu of a Japanese salary).

Dates:

• Winter Semester: January 4 to March 25
• Spring Semester: April 3 to June 30
• Summer Semester: June 20 to August 25
• 1st Fall Semester: September 1 to October 30
• 2nd Fall Semester:  October 20 to December 31
