It offers a two-year course of study for all post-high school students originating in Japan or any international setting. Mikuni welcomes all students who wish to study in an atmosphere of high moral standards. It operates on a semester basis \u2013 winter, spring and fall \u2013 with a one-month recess between each semester. Classes are held in different settings, with transportation provided to each venue. Students typically live in condominiums or living units owned and operated by the College.<\/p>\n

The Mikuni curriculum is designed to prepare students to secure additional education at other institutions. Its program is particularly adapted to enable students to transfer to the facilities of higher learning with which Mikuni has a working relationship, such as Brigham Young University (BYU) with three U.S.-located campuses (in Hawaii, Idaho and Utah).<\/p>\n

Instruction at Mikuni International College is provided by retired professors from other colleges and universities and BYU interns. Several courses are taught in classroom settings, while others may consist of on-line learning for which BYU interns act as advisors.
