IERS is a non-profit organization that seeks to bring high-quality English education to the Japanese people in a Christ-centered environment. IERS has headquarters both in Provo, Utah in the US and in Yokohama, Japan. IERS researches English teaching methodology and how to improve English learning in Japan.<\/p>\n<p>While IERS is founded upon principles of <a title=\"The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Homepage\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lds.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints<\/a>, all people who are willing to live by its precepts\u2013regardless of faith\u2013are fully welcome participate in classes, camps, and all other activities held at Mikuni International College.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Board<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>IERS is led by two boards: one in Japan, and one in the US. The boards are headed by Ph.D.&#8217;s; professors; and business, community, and church leaders.
