Perfect. You have come to the right place.<\/p>\n<p>BYU offers an internship called Learning and Teaching Language (LTL).\u00a0<span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">At Mikuni International College as an LTL intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in a full English-immersion, Christ-centered environment. You will live with and teach Japanese young people. The students will also be taking online courses through US universities such as Brigham Young University Provo and Brigham Young University Hawaii.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Your responsibilities, as a native English speaker, will include teaching classes five days a week as well as organizing and leading activities with your students. These activities could include sports, hikes, music, cooking, movie nights, anything that will help improve each student&#8217;s English ability. You will also be expected to be with available to help with conversation, comprehension, and homework outside of class hours.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">While you may be busy as an LTL intern, you will also have personal time to pursue your own studies and online courses through BYU, as well as free time to experience your local area&#8217;s many attractions. LTL interns can be placed in Sapporo, Sendai, Osaka, Shibuya, and Yuzawa (where the main campus is). You will have chances to see cities, hot springs, mountains, or anything you like. Currently internships at Mikuni are only offered to current BYU students, but we hope in future years to offer them to others as well. Keep checking back or <a title=\"Contact Us\" href=\"https:\/\/mikuniinternational.org\/contact-us\/\">contact us<\/a>\u00a0for more information.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Locations<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mikuni International College is in Yuzawa-machi, Niigata Prefecture, about 75 minutes northwest of Tokyo on the Joetsu Shinkansen. The nearest train station is Echigo Yuzawa Station.<\/p>\n<p>Housing is provided, and is located\u00a0<em>very<\/em>\u00a0near the school.<\/p>\n<p>Other locations for LTL interns are in Sapporo, Sendai, Osaka, and Shibuya (Tokyo).
